Aunt Apple's (April's) Visit

Luke is almost 8 months and there are new developments and curiosities that he and I discover each day. What has not changed since day one is being oh so alert and observant; although he has a much better memory these days and knows what is familiar and what isn't. As you can imagine this can cause some difficulties, especially when Mommy isn't around.

He has no teeth yet, but I just know that they will pop up any day...even though I've said that for the last 4 months. I think we have discovered his favorite food...Graham crackers! Carrots or peas would be healthier but he is human after all. Sweet potatoes is a close second.

This weekend the bluebonnets were starting to bloom and we couldn't resist taking some pictures. Thanks for the idea Grandma!

We got to spend some special time at Papa and Nana's last week and Luke got to ride on a little horse that they bought me when I was his age. Thanks for saving it all these years!

7 Months

I bought a camera as a "retirement" gift to myself and I'm just learning how to use it. Little Luke will be the subject of the majority of my photos. Here are a few of the firsts I've taken of him with my camera. I'm still getting "the" look from him. Sweet baby.
